Famous composer Yovie Widianto has once again amazed music fans with his collaboration with three young Indonesian stars, Lyodra, Tiara Andini, and Ziva Magnolya, through a new single titled ‘Apa Artinya Aku‘. This song tells the story of unrequited love, where someone is only seen as a second choice by the person they love.
According to Yovie, the selection of these three singers was based on their exceptional vocal talents.
“During the recording with Arsy Widianto, Mas Bowo, and Dennys Nussy, their interpretation truly touched our hearts. The most challenging part was the song’s bridge, but their voices remained beautiful and unique,” he said.
Previously, they had collaborated on the song ‘Menyesal’ as part of the Yovie & His Friends. Arsy Widianto, who is also the composer of this song, explained that the main theme of the song portrays someone’s disappointment when their love is not returned.
“Simple but full of emotion. This song is about someone who keeps their feelings and ultimately feels disappointed,” said Arsy.
The single has been warmly received, with over 140 million streams on Spotify and 57 million views on YouTube. The music video is also captivating with its cinematic visuals directed by Jessy Sylviani and Bobby Adrian V, featuring Michelle Ziudith as the main actress.
