Tensions between SM Entertainment and EXO-CBX consisting of Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin continue to escalate as the trio were allegedly excluded from EXO’s group activities.
SM’s stock reportedly dropped by more than two percent after the issue caught public attention. According to sources on Weverse, the “EXO’verse Fan Meeting” scheduled for December will only feature six EXO members, with no participation from CBX.
In an official statement, SM Entertainment clarified that they will continue to support EXO’s activities starting December.
“We have explained to the three members that resolving the dispute and team activities are two separate matters,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, EXO-CBX expressed disappointment over the company’s decision.
“While we were working toward mutual understanding, we were informed about the fan meeting and album release without our involvement,” they said.
The trio added that they still value their fans and hope for EXO’s full lineup to reunite for future activities.
