Simone Biles, the world-renowned gymnast, has revealed that she underwent three surgical procedures for her own comfort and confidence.
The first was a breast augmentation surgery, which she said was a personal choice.
Simone explained that every woman has the right to feel confident in her own way.
“Feeling good about yourself and loving yourself, I’ve always been vocal about that,” she said.
She also had eyelid surgery to address dark circles and eye bags that she inherited from her family.
Simone shared that the feature runs in her entire bloodline.
“The Biles eye bags,” she joked.
The eye bags often caused issues during photoshoots. Her third surgery corrected an old issue with her ear caused by an earring being pulled out when she was a child.
After a recent vacation with her boyfriend sparked fan speculation, Simone emphasized a woman’s right to make her own choices.
“I’m open about it and I’m happy,” she said,
