Comedian Shuk Sahar admitted facing tough challenges in his marriage but remains calm and grateful for still being surrounded by friends willing to stand by him.
Shuk, whose real name is Mohammad Shukri Mohamed Sahar, 39, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the presence of his friends from the Lepak Bapak team (podcast team), whom he considers like family in Singapore.
“Thank you Lepak Bapak, not because you guys took my side or anything, but because you made me feel like I have a family and a place to lean on in Singapore.
“Sorry if my issues dragged you all into some negative stories. May Allah repay your kindness with goodness,” wrote Shuk in the comment section of the podcast’s Instagram.
The post came up after two representatives from the Lepak Bapak team stepped forward to clarify that their group’s name got caught up in Shuk’s marital troubles.
One of the reps, Feroz, also revealed Shuk’s dedication to working hard for his family’s livelihood, especially before Ramadan.
“We saw him working till late at night, doing extra podcast recordings to earn money for a Europe trip and his wife’s surgery. We witnessed all this ourselves,” he explained.
Previously, Shuk’s wife, Fara Salleh, claimed the comedian pronounced a talak satu divorce via a phone call.
Fara also uploaded a video expressing her disappointment over Shuk’s alleged irresponsible behavior.
For the record, Shuk and Fara tied the knot in November 2023. – BOOM!
