South Korean celebrity couple Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin have ended their decade-long romance by turning their wedding into a meaningful moment of giving back to those in need.

The newlyweds made a generous donation to selected charitable organisations, contributing a total of 300 million KRW (approximately RM822,500) as an expression of gratitude and thanksgiving.
Their wedding ceremony was held privately on Saturday afternoon at The Shilla Hotel in central Seoul.

According to The Korea Times, their agency, AM Entertainment, confirmed that the donation was channelled to several organisations, including the Hallym Burn Foundation, Asan Medical Center, and humanitarian organisation Good Friends.

The agency added that the couple made the year-end donation as a token of appreciation for the public’s continued support.

Since 2009, Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin have consistently contributed to charitable causes, particularly in support of children with cancer and underprivileged communities.
Their combined lifetime donations are estimated to exceed 5 billion KRW (around RM14 million), further cementing their reputation as big-hearted and socially conscious celebrities. —Boom!
