Popular Bollywood actor and star, Salman Khan made a tough decision to postpone his UK concert tour following the shocking Pahalgam attack tragedy that stunned the world.
Through his Instagram post this morning, Salman announced that the “The Bollywood Big One” performances, scheduled for May 4 and 5 in Manchester and London, had to be deferred.
The concert also featured big names like Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, and Maniesh Paul — who will now perform on new dates to be announced.
In his caption, Salman wrote:
“In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with profound sadness, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone The Bollywood Big One shows, originally scheduled for May 4th and 5th in Manchester and London.
While we understand how much our fans were looking forward to these performances, we feel it is only right to pause during this time of grief.”
Salman also apologized for any inconvenience and appreciated the support of fans who understand the situation.
The Pahalgam tragedy on April 22 claimed 26 lives, almost all Indian citizens, according to a CNN report. A day after the incident, Salman expressed his sorrow on X (Twitter).
“Kashmir, heaven on planet earth turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai.“

Salman’s decision aligns with steps taken by several other artists like Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, who canceled their concerts in Chennai and Surat, as well as international names like AP Dhillon and Kevin Hart to honor the somber situation. – BOOM!
