Rosé BLACKPINK name has once again become a hot topic among netizens after a video went viral showing the K-pop idol “selling” or repeatedly using Bruno Mars name everywhere she goes, to the point that some labelled her actions as embarrassing.

The issue arose amid heated discussions surrounding the 68th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles, United States, when Rosé was said to be receiving backlash over the clip, which was deemed inappropriate in timing.

Netizens felt that Rosé’s responses, which often mentioned Mars’ name, were excessive, especially when fans’ emotions were still running high over their loss at the prestigious event.
“After mentioning #Bruno Mars wherever she goes, Rosé lost all her Grammy nominations, but in the process she has just broken a new record.
“Rosé emerged as the first and fastest artist to break Bruno Mars’ long-standing Grammy record since 2013,” said a netizen quoted by Kpop News HQ.

Further fuelling the situation, an X (Twitter) user uploaded a compilation of clips showing Rosé repeatedly mentioning Mars’ name since the release of the song APT.
The collection of videos quickly went viral and sparked controversy among fans and netizens.

Although some parties believe Rosé is simply a fan of Mars because he is a global artist, many others feel that the behaviour is excessive and has led to negative perceptions of her image as a K-pop idol. – BOOM!
