Entrepreneur Raf Yaakob emphasized that a marriage can last long only when couples make Allah the foundation of their relationship.

The ex-husband of actress Mawar Rashid explained that both husband and wife must fulfill their responsibilities based on religious principles.
“This isn’t about anyone. It’s a reminder. No one is perfect, but when Allah truly becomes the foundation of a marriage, everything will fall into place,” he wrote on Threads.

However, Raf’s statement sparked criticism from some netizens who pointed out that the businessman has divorced twice.
“You’ve been divorced twice and left two or three ‘baggage’ for innocent women. Practice what you preach. Everyone who divorces knows how to write beautifully but acts otherwise,” commented one user.

Raf responded calmly to the remarks.
“No one wants a divorce, but it happens. I accept Allah’s decree. Alhamdulillah, my children are doing well. I meet them every week and pay alimony every month. I’ve done my part. You know my name, but not my story,” he said.
