For the first time, Sony Music Malaysia has brought together two famous stars, Vanessa Reynauld and Rebel Asia, in an incredible single titled “To The Finish Line.” This song serves as the official soundtrack (OST) for the highly anticipated film “Soloz Game of Life,” set to hit cinemas on January 23, 2025.
The movie revolves around an emotional and challenging journey in the world of Mobile Legends esports. “To The Finish Line” carries a message of perseverance, courage, and unity, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the story.
“The song has an upbeat tempo to capture the atmosphere of the gaming world. It also complements the film’s ending, which is why it’s called ‘To The Finish Line,’” said Vanessa.
“We wanted to create something that truly connects with the gaming world,” added Rebel Asia.
Vanessa admitted that this genre introduced a new dimension to her musical journey.
“I’ve never sung a song like this before. Collaborating with a DJ and incorporating AI elements was challenging but fun,” she explained.
For Rebel Asia, this experience also brought something different.
“This EDM pop genre is something fresh for me, and I’m excited to explore it,” he added.
Their collaboration proved to be a success, and Vanessa truly appreciated Rebel Asia’s rapping style.
“I’m really happy to work with him,” she said.
