Singer Nubhan has denied allegations that he recklessly threw away or removed the personal belongings of his former wife, Dr Afifah Hidayah Ahmad Tawfek.
The Gegar Vaganza 12 (GV12) contestant stressed that his actions were not carried out hastily, but were taken based on legal advice.
“Everything I did had a reason, and I do not wish to comment further as the matter is still under court proceedings. What I did was not done rashly or carelessly; everything was carried out following advice from my lawyer. Beyond that, I cannot comment out of respect for the court process,” he was quoted as saying by Oh Bulan.
Nubhan also stated that he is prepared to fully cooperate without any excuses should Afifah lodge a police report regarding the issue.
Previously, Afifah had filed a police report alleging that her personal belongings were moved out without notice while she was overseas.
The couple divorced with talak dua on 2 December at the Sepang District Syariah Lower Court in Selangor, after 10 years of marriage. –Boom!
