A brand-new music reality program, Asian Pop Stars (APS) 2025, is set to make waves with its grand mission to produce world-class stars from Asia, particularly Malaysia.
Excitingly, not only the winner but all eight finalists will receive exclusive training through a full scholarship for one month at the National Academy of Arts, Culture, and Heritage (ASWARA) and two months in South Korea to maintain their career momentum post-competition.
The program is organized and produced by the NGO Malaysian Digital Generation Organization (PGDM), making it the first music reality show in Malaysia fully organized by an NGO.
“We at PGDM are proud to take on this challenge in our effort to discover talents capable of becoming world-class stars,” said its Chairperson, Datin Seri Dr. Harnie Mohamed.
APS will bring together 20 talented participants from across Asia to undergo intensive training and weekly performances over five weeks.
The first three weeks will have no eliminations, while 12 participants will be eliminated in the fourth week, and the eight finalists will compete in the Grand Finale Concert on January 3, 2026, at PICC Putrajaya.
The live broadcast of APS will begin on November 29, 2025, every Saturday from 9 PM to 11:30 PM on RTM.
The competition’s champion will take home USD20,000, a rotating trophy, and a certificate of recognition.
Additionally, participants will join a special nine-day Cuti-Cuti Malaysia tourism program in conjunction with the promotion of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, covering nine states.

Excitingly, veteran artiste Fauziah Ahmad Daud has been announced as the Principal of APS, assisted by Isabella Soliano (vocal coach) and Azmie Z. Abdden (choreographer). – BOOM!
