KRU’s fans have truly been missing new projects from this legendary trio.
However, according to Dato’ Norman Abdul Halim, that longing is also felt by the group themselves, even though each member is now comfortable with different roles and commitments.

“We all miss performing, but it requires a huge sacrifice.
Edry would have to leave his family in Manchester and travel back and forth, Yusry would need to step away from his duties as a director for a while.
I myself would have to leave the office and the business that’s currently running,” Norman explained to BOOM!.
He also didn’t rule out the possibility of returning with a big project, but everything depends on their commitments and timing, which need careful consideration.
“KRU isn’t closing the book, just taking a short break.
We’re using this time to think about our individual directions and the best steps for the future.
If there’s good news, we’ll definitely share it with our fans later,” he added.
Norman hopes fans will continue to support their endeavors in whatever field they pursue.

Meanwhile, Norman also grabbed attention when KRU Entertainment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in an official ceremony today.
This strategic move not only reflects KRU Entertainment’s commitment to contributing to the development of the local entertainment industry but also strengthens the collaboration between academia and the creative industry.
“The combination of our industry experience and UiTM’s academic expertise can produce a new generation that is not only tech-savvy but also creative and ready to break into the global market,” Norman said.
This collaboration covers various opportunities, including industrial training, curriculum development, and technological innovation that are more relevant for students aiming to break into the entertainment and media technology world.

Also present at the ceremony were Y.M. Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi (President of Kruniverse Sdn. Bhd.), Syaiful Azmen Nordin (Managing Director of LLSB), Prof. TPr. Dr. Jamalunlaili Abdullah (Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Industry, Community & Alumni Network, UiTM), and several senior representatives from UiTM and the industry. – BOOM!
