Muar Member of Parliament, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, has denied any plans to take his relationship with actress and singer Bella Astillah to a more serious stage for now.
Quoting a report from Kosmo! Online, Saddiq explained that his priority is to spend time with his family, after enduring emotional pressure throughout his recent court proceedings.
“For now, I just want to take my mom, dad, and family out for a meal.
That’s my priority,” he said.
When asked if Bella would join the family dinner, Saddiq only smiled and chose not to comment.
Even so, he didn’t deny feeling touched by the strong support from fans, including loyal supporters of the ‘BASS’ (Bella & Saddiq) pairing, who reportedly held a Yasin recitation and prayers for his safety before the court’s decision was announced.
“Thank you to our loyal supporters who stood by us without being asked.
Two or three nights ago, they held a Yasin recitation and prayers for my safety.
Today, we cried together because your prayers were answered,” he said.
Previously, the Court of Appeal acquitted Saddiq of four charges related to criminal breach of trust, misuse of property, and money laundering involving Armada funds, after a three-judge panel ruled that the High Court’s earlier conviction was unsafe and misdirected. – BOOM!
