Celebrity couple Nicole Kidman and singer Keith Urban have officially divorced, three months after the actress filed for separation citing irreconcilable differences.

Judge Stephanie J. Williams in Nashville, Tennessee, ordered the dissolution of the marriage on Tuesday after being satisfied with a settlement involving the division of assets and child custody arrangements.

In court documents, Stephanie stated that “irreconcilable differences” existed between both parties, making the continuation of the marriage “impractical and impossible.”
Neither party sought child support or spousal support, instead agreeing to divide their joint assets almost equally.

Nicole, an Academy Award-winning actress, and Urban, a Grammy-winning country singer, are both 58 years old and share two teenage daughters.
Under the agreement, Nicole has been named the primary custodian, although both children will continue to reside in Nashville as before.

People reported that Nicole did not want the divorce and had fought to save the marriage.
The divorce filing in September came as a shock to fans, although the process was believed to have been planned earlier.

The marriage was Urban’s first and Nicole’s second. She was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001 and has two children from that earlier marriage. —Boom!
