The official trailer for the third film in the popular franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash, has been released, and as expected, netizens’ reactions on social media are fiery and divided.

Scheduled for release on December 19, 2025, Avatar: Fire and Ash will continue the epic story from Avatar: The Way of Water.
This time, audiences are introduced to a new, fearsome Na’vi clan known as the Ash People, set against a darker and more dramatic backdrop.
As usual, James Cameron does not disappoint in terms of visuals.
From CGI special effects, cinematography, to color palette, many praised the result as “an extraordinary visual feast.”
However, not everyone is impressed. Some social media users admitted they remain skeptical.
“If this movie isn’t three hours long, I’m not convinced it can fully deliver the story well,” said one netizen.
“I still remember falling asleep during the first film. The storyline was too thin.
But I slept really well that night,” commented another netizen.
