Nadzmi Adhwa Turns Disappointment Into A Humanitarian Mission In Aceh

Despite having spent 11 years in the entertainment industry, actor and TV host Nadzmi Adhwa admitted that his career journey has been filled with challenges, as his name was often outright rejected by several television stations.

According to him, he made various efforts, including attending acting classes to gain more knowledge and improve his skills, but luck did not always side with him.

“I tried everything to learn, but perhaps this is not my sustenance. To have my name rejected completely at the very last moment was truly heartbreaking,” he said.

Nadzmi shared his feelings on Threads. He also revealed that there were opinions suggesting he was no longer relevant in the acting or hosting industry.

However, Nadzmi believes that every rejection comes with its own wisdom.

“Perhaps this is the blessing behind my name being rejected so many times, and it became the reason for me to be able to provide aid in Aceh,” he said gratefully.

Together with his team, Aryana Care, Nadzmi had the opportunity to channel humanitarian assistance in Aceh by distributing basic necessities such as rice and eggs to help flood victims continue their lives after the disaster. —Boom!
