The most awaited action film, ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning‘, starring Hollywood legend Tom Cruise, will be screened Out of Competition at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.
According to an official statement from the organizers, the premiere of this eighth film in the popular spy franchise will take place at the Grand Theatre Lumiere on May 14.
Tom Cruise, who also serves as producer, will step onto the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals alongside director and screenwriter, as well as long-time collaborator, Christopher McQuarrie, and the main cast.
Among the actors starring in this film are Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Vanessa Kirby, Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Katy O’Brian, and Tramell Tillman.
Previously, Tom Cruise attended the Cannes Film Festival with the film ‘Far and Away‘ directed by Ron Howard in 1992, and ‘Top Gun: Maverick‘ in 2022.
This film is produced by Paramount Pictures and Skydance, and will start screening in cinemas across India on May 23 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions, including in IMAX format.
The Cannes Film Festival this year runs from May 13 to May 24, with French acting legend Juliette Binoche serving as the Jury President for the main competition. – BOOM!
