Actress Mia Sara expressed her sadness over not being taken seriously for adult roles despite being 21 years old. According to Mia, public perception is hard to change due to her petite physique and youthful appearance.

“I’m already 21, but people still see me as a child. I don’t want to be seen as a kid even though my body is small,” she said.
Mia admitted she feels exhausted dealing with such assumptions.
“I don’t want to be viewed as a child forever. I’m tired of being treated like a kid; people don’t take me seriously,” she shared.
However, Mia clarified that she is not refusing to play school student roles, but feels that her life stage has changed.

Her statement received support from actress Sweet Qismina, who shared her thoughts on Instagram Story. Sweet described this feeling as a reality for child actors who need opportunities and trust to grow.
“If you can give chances to new actors to learn on set, why not do the same for those who have been acting since childhood? Trust them and give opportunities to those who started from the bottom. Like rice, keep learning and learning to be the best,” she said.

She emphasized that on-set experience is vital for talent development and hopes the industry will be more open to actors growing up in front of the camera. -BOOM!
