“Maybe Not Compatible, Nothing Serious” – Edika Yusof Calm As Wife Seeks Divorce

Experienced actor, Edika Yusof remains calm even though his 22-year marriage with his wife, Nor Hidayah Yusri, is now on the brink of ending.

Quoting a Harian Metro report, Hidayah shocked many when she showed up at the Federal Territory Syariah Court in Kuala Lumpur on Monday for the first mention of the case after filing for divorce in mid-February.

“God willing, I’ll update later, nothing serious. God willing, we’ll try to talk it out. Maybe not compatible, from her side… thank you,” he said calmly.

Hidayah’s syariah lawyer, Mohd Yazid Hazim, also shared that the main reason for the divorce filing is a lack of understanding between them.

Edika had previously caught public attention when his story of sacrifice, caring for Hidayah who has been partially paralyzed for 16 years, inspired many people.
