Monroe Cannon, the daughter of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, insists that her twin brother, Moroccan, is the only brother she considers as her sibling.

Monroe said that although her father has ten other children from multiple relationships, all of them are much younger than she is.
Monroe and Moroccan were born in 2011 during Mariah and Cannon’s third wedding anniversary.

Her firm stance toward her father’s other children reflects her mother’s recent comments about co-parenting.
“I think it’s better if I don’t talk about him (Cannon) because he’s in his own world,” Carey told Gayle King while promoting her latest album on September 19.

Cannon, however, said he disagrees with the concept of co-parenting.
“I’ve always had an issue with that label (co-parenting),” Cannon said on his Nick @ Night podcast last August.

According to him, parents should not label their roles, especially when it involves childcare.
“We’re just parents. When you start labeling things, I think it does more harm than good because people form preconceived notions about what you’re doing,” he said. –Boom!
