The open house and wedding celebration of controversial entrepreneur Jofliam and his wife Dewi, which also featured free wagyu pizza distribution, went viral when some guests expressed disappointment with the food served.
Through a post that gained attention on the Threads platform, one guest uploaded a picture of two slices of wagyu pizza, claiming they were too small and looked burnt.
“All talk, no substance,” they wrote, noting that the toppings were sparse and the size was far different from what Jofliam had advertised earlier.
Not only that, other netizens shared similar experiences, including claims of having to queue long and ‘battle’ with over 8,000 guests to get their hands on the exclusive pizza.
“Even mamak’s naan is more appetizing,” mocked one user, clearly upset with the quality of the free food served.
The hosts were accused of being insincere in serving the dishes to guests, especially since most of the pizza was said to fall short of expectations, with some even being overly crispy to the point of being burnt.
Previously, Jofliam announced they would give out 300 wagyu pizzas for free during the wedding celebration as a token of appreciation for the guests and fans who attended.
However, that good intention is now facing criticism – sparking heated debates on social media about quality and sincerity in giving. – BOOM!
