The Hollywood entertainment industry was shocked by the news of the passing of renowned actor, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, 54, who reportedly died due to drowning while swimming in the sea in Costa Rica on July 20.
Citing a report from NBC News, the incident occurred at Playa Cocles, Limon province, when Warner was believed to have been swept away by a strong current before being found lifeless by bystanders on the beach.

Warner, widely known for his role as Theodore Huxtable in the popular series The Cosby Show (1984), remained active in the industry and starred in various television series.
In fact, through that role, he was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1986.
Other series that showcased his talent include Malcolm & Eddie, Reed Between the Lines, 9-1-1, The Resident, and most recently, Alert: Missing Persons Unit as Chief Inspector Bill Houston.
Besides TV, Warner was also active in theater and produced a podcast titled Not All Hood, which highlighted issues within the Black community. – BOOM!
