Former Home Alone child star Macaulay Culkin reminded fans that his full legal name is now Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin, after officially changing his middle name.

The unusual decision came from a poll he hosted on his website, BunnyEars.com, in 2018, where fans were invited to vote for a new middle name for the actor.

Fans submitted all sorts of bizarre suggestions, including The McRib Is Back, Kieran (after his brother), and Publicity Stunt.
In the poll, the name “Macaulay Culkin” won by a large margin, and Culkin legally registered the new name in 2019.
He explained this during the event A Nostalgic Night With Macaulay Culkin, held recently in California, USA, in conjunction with the 35th anniversary of Home Alone, the film that catapulted him to fame.
Culkin said he did it all as a joke.
To him, the name change was a fun way to engage with his fans and show his sense of humor.

He even joked that when someone greets him at the airport, he can now reply with: “Macaulay Culkin is my middle name.” —Boom!
