Rumors about a breakup between famous Korean celebrity couple, IU and Lee Jong Suk have finally been addressed and proven untrue.
According to a report by OSEN on May 20, the popular couple is still in a stable and loving relationship, now entering their third year together.
“Everything is still good between IU and Lee Jong Suk,” said a close source, firmly denying the breakup rumors that have recently resurfaced.
The couple publicly announced their relationship in December 2022 and have since kept a low profile in their romance.
Lee Jong Suk has been spotted attending IU’s concerts, and they have also indirectly mentioned each other in public.
Rumors started swirling intensely after IU was reportedly seen dining out with BTS’ V on her birthday, May 16.
However, it was later confirmed that it was just a casual gathering with friends at a restaurant owned by chef Ahn Sung Jae.
IU and V had previously collaborated on a music video shoot.
Speculation was further fueled by Lee Jong Suk’s upcoming overseas filming schedule for his new drama The Remarried Empress.
Nevertheless, sources confirmed that the couple still makes time to meet despite their busy careers.
