Independent preacher, PU Syed has once again criticized the attire of the female pop group DOLLA, which he claims was overly sexy during their performance at a music festival at Bukit Jalil National Stadium recently.
In a post on Instagram, PU Syed stated that his criticism of DOLLA is not new and had been made about a year ago.
However, he said, all his advice has been like “pouring water on a taro leaf.”
“I criticized the DOLLA group about a year ago, I believe.
But the advice I gave to artists like them is like pouring water on a taro leaf,” he expressed.
PU Syed also took issue with the group’s name, which he said sounds like “ضل” (dhol), an Arabic term meaning astray, linking it to their image and appearance.
The preacher further emphasized that DOLLA sets a bad example for fans, particularly in terms of their revealing attire, which he considers inappropriate for Muslims.
“They have shown a bad example to fans, and it’s no surprise if many dress as if they are practically naked,” he added.
He also called on the authorities to enforce stricter dress code ethics, especially for Muslim artists and influencers.
“I firmly urge the authorities to enforce dress code ethics on the public, especially artists and influencers.
Particularly for Muslims, to avoid wearing revealing clothing,” he stressed.
He added that sometimes male preachers who offer criticism have their intentions questioned, but he remains steadfast in his principle of addressing wrongdoing. – BOOM!
