The Bukit Jalil National Stadium echoed with cheers and singing from fans as Indonesia’s legendary band Sheila On 7 (SO7) returned to entertain thousands of Malaysian fans at the Latihan Pestapora Malaysia 2025 last Saturday night.
The last time SO7 performed in Malaysia was in 2018.
After a seven-year wait, their presence clearly evoked deep nostalgia among loyal fans.
“Malaysia always gives good memories for SO7,” expressed lead vocalist Duta, whose real name is Akhdiyat Duta Modjo.
“It’s been a long time since SO7 was here.
Alhamdulillah, tonight we get to reunite with all our friends,” he added.
SO7 entertained fans for a non-stop 90 minutes with over 17 popular songs, including Sephia, Dan, Melompat Lebih Tinggi, Bila Kau Tak Disampingku, and Memori Baik.
The concert kicked off as early as 1:30 PM with energetic performances from Salam Muzik, Pamungkas, Kunto Aji, Nadin Amizah, Dolla, Bittersweet, Barasuara X Efek Rumah Kaca, and .Feast.
The second stage was electrified with performances from Dukes, Julia Duclos, Naki, Fahimi, ALVN, Empty Page, Aziz Harun, DJ CZA, Lil J, Elva Suyan, Killa Driz, Gaston Pong, Yonnyboii, SonaOne, and Ismail Izzani.
Around 7:50 PM, the atmosphere heated up as the band Bunkface rocked the stage with songs like Situasi and Revolusi, followed by Hindia, who stirred emotions with tracks like Rumah Ke Rumah, Cincin, and Membasuh.
As a stunning finale, Feel Koplo, joined by Ari Lesmana, performed a remix medley of songs like Mangu and Fana Merah Jambu, wrapping up the night with boundless energy. – BOOM!
