Datuk Norman Abdul Halim has announced that the new Magika Studios development in Mangrove Point, Port Klang, Selangor has now entered its commercialisation phase.

According to Norman, the strategic collaboration between Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd (LLSB) and KRU Entertainment Sdn Bhd (KRUESB) for the Magika Studios project has progressed to this phase after the completion of the first phase, which involved an investment of around RM13 million.

For the short-term plan, they will be injecting an additional RM5 million as an initial step to complete essential infrastructure.
“In the short term, we will start with RM5 million first,” he said of the project, which has an estimated total value of RM25 million.

He explained that current works are focused on preparing infrastructure such as power systems and utilities before imported assets from abroad can be installed.
Norman shared that Magika Studios features a concept inspired by Malay myths and environmental elements, designed as an eco-tourism and edutainment destination aimed at instilling educational value in visitors, especially children and the younger generation.

He emphasised that the intention is to ensure visitors not only come for entertainment, but also gain knowledge.
“Sometimes, when we become too engrossed in listening to K-pop or watching Western films, we risk losing our identity. That’s why the mythical Malay characters in Magika Studios come with storytelling elements and added educational value,” he said.

The studio will feature eight initial zones offering different day and night experiences.
According to Norman, the park’s capacity is set at around 500 visitors per hour to ensure a comfortable and controlled experience.
“The capacity is estimated to accommodate about 500 visitors an hour,” he added.

Scheduled to open in mid-2026 at Mangrove Point, Port Klang, Magika Studios aims to stand out from conventional theme parks with its unique concept and affordable ticket prices. —Boom!
