Famous South Korean actor, Kim Soo Hyun is now raising questions about whether he’ll attend a fan meeting event in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, scheduled for the end of this month.
According to a report by Taiwanese media, ET Today, Kim Soo Hyun was supposed to attend the 2025 Sakura Festival organised by 7-Eleven Taiwan on March 30. The event was planned with exciting activities like special packages, exclusive Kim Soo Hyun edition cups and sleeves, and a meet-up with 200 lucky fans.
However, the popular star’s attendance is now uncertain following his latest controversy linked to his late ex-girlfriend, Kim Sae Ron.
Speaking on behalf of the organisers, 7-Eleven Taiwan came forward with a statement:
“For now, the event is still planned to go ahead. But if there are any changes, we will act quickly while considering our consumers’ rights,” explained the representative.
If Kim Soo Hyun chooses to pull out, he might have to face a cancellation penalty fee of 30 million NT$ (around USD900,000).
ET Today also speculated that there’s a high chance Kim Soo Hyun might cancel his appearance.
This event was definitely something fans were looking forward to, but the current situation adds uncertainty — will Kim Soo Hyun show up, or will fans have to face the disappointing news of a cancellation?
Let’s wait together for the official decision in the near future. – BOOM!
