Kim Seon Ho agency, Fantagio, has finally spoken out to address allegations of a tax evasion scandal involving the popular actor, which have sparked widespread speculation on social media over the past few days.
The controversy arose after a report claimed that Kim Seon Ho was operating a production company linked to a family member, raising questions over whether there had been an attempt at tax evasion through the company’s corporate structure.
Fantagio swiftly denied the allegations, but public pressure continued to mount.
In an official statement released on February 4, Fantagio explained that Kim Seon Ho established a company in January 2024 to manage his acting activities and theatre production work.
However, the agency stressed that the company ceased operations after the actor realised it could lead to misunderstandings.
“After realising that the operation of the company itself could cause misunderstandings, Kim Seon Ho halted its operations,” Fantagio was quoted as saying by Soompi.
Fantagio also emphasised that since a new exclusive contract was signed in February 2025, all payments have been made directly to Kim Seon Ho as an individual, and the company is no longer involved.
The agency further revealed that Kim Seon Ho has returned company assets, settled additional personal income tax and corporate tax, and is currently in the process of fully closing the company.
“Kim Seon Ho sincerely apologises,” Fantagio said, while pledging to tighten artist management in the future. – BOOM!
