Singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau appeared to confirm their relationship after being spotted holding hands at an event in Paris.
Celebrity news outlet TMZ published photos and videos showing the pair walking hand in hand before getting into a car together.
So far, neither Katy nor Trudeau has issued an official statement about their relationship.
Trudeau’s presence at Katy’s concert earlier this year had already sparked rumors of a budding romance between the two.
Their Paris appearance coincided with Katy’s 41st birthday celebration over the weekend and is believed to be their first public outing as a couple.
During her recent tour stop in London, Katy seemed to hint at her relationship status when a fan jokingly proposed to her mid-performance.
“If you had asked me 48 hours ago,”
she quipped a remark made just days after photos of her and Trudeau surfaced online.
