Two members of the popular group BTS, Jimin and Jungkook, officially completed their mandatory military service on June 11, after 18 months serving as active members of the Artillery Brigade, 5th Infantry Division of the Army.
Both completed the discharge process at the camp before heading to Yeoncheon Public Stadium in Gyeonggi Province, where they greeted the media and fans who had been waiting since early morning.

Despite the early hour, hundreds of loyal ARMY fans gathered to celebrate their return.
Jimin and Jungkook were seen giving a salute and shouting “Dan-gyeol!”, a collaborative military chant in Korea.
“Thank you to everyone who came.
It’s been a while since I faced cameras… I’m not wearing any makeup today, so I feel a bit shy,” said Jungkook, laughing.

With RM and V having been discharged a day earlier, and SUGA set to complete his alternative service on June 21, all BTS members have now fulfilled their military obligations.
Thus ends BTS’s military hiatus phase, which began in December 2022. – BOOM!
