Ejen Ali The Movie 2 (EATM2) continues to solidify its position as the most successful local animated film, raking in an impressive RM34.2 million in just 11 days of screening in cinemas!
This amount has shattered the record set by the first Ejen Ali film (2019), making EATM2 the highest-grossing local animated film in the shortest time.
So far, over two million viewers have flooded cinemas to watch this action-packed and emotional sequel.
Director and Chief Executive Officer of WAU Animation, Usamah Zaid Yasin, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans.
“We created this sequel with all our hearts to meet the expectations of loyal fans who have long awaited Ejen Ali’s mission,” he said.
“The audience’s reactions, tears, laughter, and applause in the cinemas are the most precious rewards for us,” he added.
Produced by WAU Animation in collaboration with Primeworks Studios (PWS), the film follows Ali’s mission as he becomes a pioneer in the elite SATRIA program, using high-tech suits and AI assistance.
