Actor and comedian Fikry Ibrahim has finally spoken about his marriage to Khalizah, which took place last Wednesday.

According to Fikry, he never intended to hide the happy news but preferred to wait until everything was settled.

“I believe that if something is good, it’s best not to share it until it’s certain. So, I waited until it was done. Alhamdulillah, it’s a good thing.”

Denying claims that the marriage was arranged or forced, the 30-year-old explained that he had a lot on his mind after officially becoming a husband.

“This is not me making a TV3 drama. Maybe at that moment, I was thinking about a few things, including becoming a husband. It’s a huge responsibility, and I have to be fair.”

He added that he now has to take care of both his wife and his mother.

“I have a mother and a wife now. Being fair doesn’t mean treating both the same, but giving them what they deserve in the right way.”

Meanwhile, Fikry shared that his wife is currently in Kedah taking care of her mother-in-law out of her own kindness. – BOOM!
