Early customers who visited Rembayung Restaurant, owned by influencer Khairul Aming, have begun sharing their receipts and dining experiences on social media.

Many diners expressed satisfaction, describing the prices at the Malay cuisine restaurant as reasonable and worth the quality of the food served.

According to a Threads user @wthiqah, most of the dishes tried were tasty and came in generous portions that were filling.

However, the beef cooked in coconut milk received a moderate score of 6/10, as the meat was slightly tough and had an overly strong smoky flavour.
“This is an honest review of Rembayung’s food,” the user wrote.

In contrast, the chicken in coconut milk was highly praised with a score of 9/10, with its spiciness described as “ringing in the ears,” alongside plentiful and meaty chicken pieces.
“The sambal seabass gets a 10/10 for being spicy and well-seasoned, while the sambal prawns also score 10/10 because they are sweet, loaded with petai and made with fresh prawns,” she added.

Beyond the food, the restaurant’s ambience also received positive feedback, being described as comfortable and pleasant.
“The staff are friendly and even help customers take photos,” she said. —Boom!
