Pentagon’s K-Pop group member, Yan An announced that he will temporarily take a break from all artistic activities due to health issues he is facing.
During a live broadcast with fans on July 22, Yan An revealed that he has a tumor in his head and is scheduled to undergo surgery in August.

“This tumor has actually been there for a long time.
I was supposed to have surgery earlier, but my schedule was too packed, and I couldn’t find the right time,” he said honestly.
According to a report by Taiwanese media ETtoday, Yan An’s condition recently worsened, causing swelling and pain that prompted him to proceed with the surgery.
“The tumor suddenly grew larger.
It’s painful and swollen, so I decided to go through with the surgery,” he explained further.
Yan An also shared that he will shave part of his head before the surgery and take a few weeks to recover.
However, Yan An took a moment to reassure his concerned fans about his condition.
“This isn’t a serious illness.
I hope you all don’t worry too much,” he said.

For the record, Yan An rose to fame after debuting with Pentagon in 2016.
After his contract with Cube Entertainment ended in 2023, he has been actively pursuing his acting career in China. – BOOM!
