Singer Haqiem Rusli is making a conscious effort to ensure his passion for video gaming does not interfere with his responsibilities as a husband, while still giving proper attention to his married life.

Commenting on his habit of playing video games late into the night, Haqiem explained that his daily schedule is still flexible since he and his wife do not yet have children. This allows him to enjoy his hobby without added pressure.
“My schedule is still flexible because we don’t have children yet. I usually play video games after tidying the house with my wife. In terms of time, I think I’m managing well, but sometimes I slip up. Occasionally, I get so absorbed in gaming that I forget to talk with my wife. So, I’m trying to improve on that,” he told Boom!

Haqiem was spotted at the Gempak Expo Usahawan Selangor (Selbiz) concert held from November 22 to 30 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre.

He admitted that men who enjoy gaming can easily lose track of time.

Hence, he is now more mindful of organizing his daily schedule so it does not affect his relationship and communication with his wife.
“Men tend to lose track of time when playing video games, sometimes from midnight until dawn. I realize that as a husband, I need to manage my time wisely with my wife, family, and friends,” said Haqiem, who recently went viral with his cover of Bintang.
He added that the idea to perform the cover came after receiving a suggestion from his management, FMC Records, to reinterpret the song by Zack Budak Kacamata, which is currently trending on TikTok. –Boom!
