Malaysian singer Hafiz Suip has shared heartbreaking news that his beloved mother, the late Halizawati Salleh, has passed away last night.
Hafiz announced the sad news through a post on his official Facebook page, writing:
“Innalillahiwainnailaihirojiun, the loss of a mother’s prayers.”
It is understood that the late Halizawati had been admitted to Kuching General Hospital, Sarawak, due to complications from chronic diabetes and breathed her last at the hospital.
According to family members, the funeral prayer will be held at 10 a.m., followed by the burial at the Semariang Islamic Cemetery in Kuching.
Just recently, on November 1, the late Halizawati attended her son’s concert, “Di Sebalik Aku: Hafiz Suip,” held at Megastar Arena, Bukit Bintang. —Boom!
