The life of Bollywood superstar, Kareena Kapoor’s family has been disrupted after her husband, Saif Ali Khan, was attacked at their Mumbai residence. The tragic incident occurred early Thursday morning, January 16, when an intruder reportedly stabbed Saif six times.
Saif was immediately rushed to the hospital at around 3:30 a.m. According to the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer, Niraj Uttamani, two of the stab wounds were more serious and required intensive care.
Shocked by the incident, Kareena expressed her sadness and requested privacy for her family to deal with the situation.
“With respect and humility, I ask the media and paparazzi to refrain from speculation and non-stop coverage,” she said.
The Asoka star also warned that excessive scrutiny could jeopardize her family’s safety.
“While we appreciate your support, constant surveillance could pose significant risks to our safety. Thank you for your cooperation during this sensitive time,” Kareena added.
