After creating a phenomenon with three consecutive nights of the GenKRU Concert at Axiata Arena Kuala Lumpur, set to gather 30,000 fans, the legendary group KRU is now ready to ‘add extra time’ in Singapore!
The GenKRU Live in Singapore concert will take place on June 28 at The Star Theatre, as a tribute to their loyal fans in the Lion City – KRU’s biggest fanbase outside Malaysia.

According to Edry Abdul Halim, this concert might be their final mega performance as a trio.
“The Singapore concert might be our last for this GenKRU phase after the three Kuala Lumpur shows. We don’t want to be too sentimental, but this could be our final concert, though we don’t know what the future holds,” Edry explained during a recent virtual press conference.
On top of that, KRU’s 15th album titled “Kaset” is set to launch on April 25, 2025, and some songs from this album will be performed exclusively at this concert. Around 25 songs from their catalog, spanning 1992 to 2025, have been chosen for the GenKRU concert.

Dato’ Norman Abdul Halim emphasized that this performance might be the last chance for fans to see KRU in their 90s style, complete with rap and dance, as they are now transitioning to a new music genre.
“If you want to see KRU in our 90s era, come to this concert—it might be the last time you’ll see KRU perform with this concept,” he said.
Meanwhile, the organizer Icon Entertainment’s Iman Tang shared that choosing Singapore is symbolic since KRU last performed there nine years ago.
“As the organizer, I’m super excited and can’t wait to meet the fans there. Many have given positive reactions. The dress code for the concert night? 90s vibes!”

Tickets for the five categories went on sale starting April 14 at 11 a.m. at www.sistic.com.sg/events/genkru0625. – BOOM!
