The legendary group KRU made history when the GenKRU 2025 Concert, held over four nights at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, was recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR).
The sibling trio, Dato’ Norman, Datuk Yusry and Edry Abdul Halim received recognition in the category “Most Shows in a Single Concert Series“, marking their extraordinary achievement in Malaysia’s music industry.
The GenKRU 2025 Concert, held on May 3, 4, 10, and 11, not only signified musical success but also symbolized the immense love of fans for this iconic group.
“This achievement is an appreciation for our fans.
The concert was initially planned for just one night, but due to overwhelming demand, it expanded to four nights,” said Norman, representing KRU.
Not only KRU, but the organizer, Icon Entertainment (M) Sdn Bhd, also received MBR recognition in the category “Most Concert Tickets Sold Out in an Hour” when 8,000 tickets were sold out in just one hour!
“We share this appreciation with all KRU fans. This concert proves that local products hold a special place in the hearts of Malaysians.
This is a spark to further elevate local concerts!” said Icon Entertainment’s founder, Iman Tang.
Over 30,000 fans attended the GenKRU 2025 Concert, which was also enlivened by special appearances from the groups Feminin, Elite, and Adam AF. – BOOM!
