Cristiano Ronaldo is now stepping into the Hollywood film world! The famous football star announced the launch of his new film studio, UR•Marv, in collaboration with renowned director, Matthew Vaughn.
The partnership was revealed by Ronaldo himself through a social media post last Thursday.
“This is an exciting chapter for me, as I start looking forward to exploring a new business world,” he said.
UR•Marv is an independent studio that, according to their official statement, will “blend innovative technology with traditional storytelling elements.”
Interestingly, while Ronaldo and Vaughn come from two different worlds, they share one thing in common – a passion for great stories.
“Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could have never written and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him – he’s a real-life superhero,” said Vaughn.
Their collaboration has already produced two action films fully funded and produced by these two incredible figures. In fact, a third film in the same series is currently in active development.
With an estimated wealth of around $800 million and career earnings exceeding $1 billion, Ronaldo isn’t just making history in sports, but now carving his name on the silver screen too.
Fans just need to wait a little longer before the first film from UR•Marv is officially announced. – BOOM!
