Indonesian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Fran is back with a deeply meaningful new work titled ‘Kaleidoskop’.
It’s a song created as a response to the wave of negative vibes on social media today.
“This single was inspired by the need to shift people’s perspectives from negative things to stories that uplift and inspire,” said Fran.
In the process of producing this song, Fran was fully involved alongside Taufan Wirzon as the producer, while Vega Antares handled the mixing and mastering.
Fran grew up as a pianist before mastering various instruments like the guitar, bass, flute, and cello.
A major musical influence came from her father’s love for Jazz, Samba, Bossa Nova, and Soul. This song was also performed live at the Java Jazz Festival 2023 alongside two other original compositions.
Following her debut with the single ‘Antariksa’ in 2020, ‘Kaleidoskop’ is proof of Fran’s continued vision to stand out as a unique voice that brings hope and inspiration to listeners.
“I want to dedicate this song to those struggling with feelings of anxiety, insecurity, and being surrounded by negativity,” said Fran.
“May the lyrics and meaning of this song help you start seeing the positive things in life,” she added.
