The child custody issue between radio host Fizi Ali, 36, and his ex-wife, actress Shakilla Khoriri, is heating up as Fizi responds to Shakilla’s social media outburst.
Through a post on Instagram on Sunday, Fizi called out his ex-wife’s actions, saying they felt childish when she aired their daughter Ameena’s issues on social media.
“That side keeps talking about rights. Fight for rights in court, we have laws, not rants on IG. If you’re unhappy, settle it in court, not on social media. What’s with this kid-like behaviour,” wrote Fizi.
At the same time, Fizi denied claims that his wife, Siti Zulaikha, registered Ameena for school without Shakilla’s knowledge.
“About school, why would my wife register her stepchild? It doesn’t make sense. Whatever that side says, you all believe it just because she’s the mum? Because she’s a woman? So my wife isn’t a woman? Isn’t a mum? You want to bully us like this? If a stepmum treats her stepchild well, you bash her. If a stepmum mistreats her kid, you bash her. What more do you want?” he said, defending his wife.
Fizi also gave a stern warning to Shakilla not to take their child away, as this year it’s his turn to celebrate Aidilfitri with Ameena.
“After this post, that side will probably run off with the kid. Just a reminder, the court gave Raya to my side (this year). Hope you don’t take her away, okay. I’ll just take court action later,” he added.
For info, Fizi and Shakilla got married in January 2018 and divorced in December 2021.
They were blessed with one child, Ameena, who is now six years old.
Fizi then married Siti Zulaikha in October 2023, while Shakilla tied the knot with Mohd Fariz in February 2024. – BOOM!
