After more than a decade of absence, the horror franchise Final Destination is back to haunt cinemas worldwide!
The latest film, Final Destination: Bloodlines, scored an extraordinary opening by grossing $102 million globally in just three days of release.
The earnings were evenly split, with $51 million from the United States and $51 million from international markets.
With these figures, Final Destination: Bloodlines now holds the record for the highest weekend opening in the franchise’s history, surpassing the previous record set by The Final Destination (2009) with a total gross of $186.1 million.
What’s even more exciting, Final Destination: Bloodlines has successfully revived this popular horror franchise, which last appeared with Final Destination 5 in 2011.
Directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, the film stays true to its terrifying and tragic formula, showcasing brutal and bizarre deaths.

This time, it focuses on a family that starts dying one by one after their grandmother’s long-buried secret is uncovered, revealing she wasn’t supposed to survive a horrific incident 50 years ago.
With this stellar performance, many believe Final Destination: Bloodlines is set to become the highest-grossing film in the entire Final Destination franchise. – BOOM!
