Singer and actress Elizabeth Tan has expressed her disappointment after undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI) treatment twice without success, as she has yet to be blessed with a child.

According to Elizabeth, she had hoped that last year would bring good news of a pregnancy, but her plans did not materialise.
“I’m a little disappointed because I thought this year (2025) I would be able to get pregnant, but there’s still no rezeki for a child. I’ve been trying for two years but it didn’t work. It’s okay, I’ll have to wait until 2026,” she said, as quoted by mStar.

Elizabeth explained that she and her husband have already discussed the next step, which is to proceed with in vitro fertilisation (IVF) if IUI continues to show no positive results.
“My husband and I talked about it, and if by June (this year) it’s still not successful, then we will go ahead with IVF treatment,” she said.

Despite the disappointment, Elizabeth remains accepting and believes in God’s plan.
“I see it as maybe it’s not my time yet to have a child. If I had a child earlier, it might have been difficult for me to commit to filming, as I had three projects last year,” she added.

The couple is planning to undergo IVF treatment around mid-2026 in hopes of fulfilling their dream of welcoming a child. –Boom!
