Singer Radhi OAG expressed gratitude after the verdict was ruled in his favor, admitting he felt as though he was labeled a murderer while facing allegations of assaulting his ex-wife.
After three years of attending court proceedings, Radhi described the experience as a test from God meant to strengthen and humble him.
“It felt like being accused of murder, but I stayed calm because I knew I was innocent. Three years of going back and forth to court can drive you crazy, but I see it as a test,” he said.
He also stressed that he has no intention of taking action against his ex-wife for the sake of their children’s well-being.
“I could have taken action since I was even detained, but thankfully it wasn’t prison. I chose to forgive and forget for my children,” he added, as quoted by Gempak.
Previously, Radhi was charged with intentionally injuring Nur Shahira Ayu in Kota Damansara, Selangor on April 19, 2022. In August last year, the court acquitted him after finding the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case. Radhi and Nur Shahira Ayu married on April 14, 2014, divorced in July 2019, and have two children.-BOOM!
