After nearly four decades in the local entertainment industry, renowned singer Fauziah Latiff is finally set to fulfill her dream of holding a solo concert as a gesture of appreciation for her loyal fans.
Fauziah will perform in the 4 Decades Fauziah Latiff Concert, scheduled for May 9 at the Dewan Plenary, KLCC, organized by Ideatelier.
Acknowledging the long wait, Fauziah offered an apology to her devoted fans.
“I sincerely apologize for taking so long because I was afraid I couldn’t satisfy everyone,” she told Kosmo.
According to Fauziah, her confidence grew when the organizer, Ezuwan Ismail, presented a detailed plan.
“When Ezuwan Ismail came to me and shared his idea, I was honestly stunned.
After that, I spent nights thinking it over and couldn’t sleep. He came fully prepared with everything planned,” she said.
The singer added that the decision to hold the concert was a way to give back to her fans.
“When I think about it, I feel it’s time to repay the fans who grew up with my songs,” she said.
Fauziah emphasized that she has never regretted not organizing a concert throughout her career, despite numerous offers. For her, organizing a concert comes with a significant responsibility that must be fulfilled. -BOOM!
