Actor Fattah Amin has come forward to deny claims that he is engaged to singer Amira Othman.
“It’s not true. I was also surprised how this ‘rumor’ suddenly surfaced. I only found out from my media friends, and it’s almost laughable,” he said when met at the Amber Raya Romantics event yesterday.

According to him, his manager also contacted Amira’s team to clarify the matter.
“We are just friends, and our relationship is strictly professional. If it were true that we’re engaged, it’s not something that could be hidden,” he said.
Fattah is unsure where this gossip originated but hopes to be protected from slander.
“If someone has bad intentions, I don’t know what their motive is. I just pray that Allah protects me from anything harmful,” he said.
Previously, rumors claimed that Fattah and Amira got engaged last Friday and would marry in Syawal, just four months after his divorce from Nur Fazura. – BOOM!
