A famous male actor was arrested by police after an initial urine screening test found him positive for drugs.
According to a source, the actor in his 40s was brought before the Shah Alam Magistrate’s Court yesterday and remanded for three days until tomorrow.
“It is understood that he was arrested to assist investigations under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 following the urine screening test result that came back positive.
“The investigation paper is understood to have been completed and submitted to the Deputy Public Prosecutor’s Office,” the source was quoted as saying by Harian Metro.
The actor had previously been convicted of a drug offence and sentenced by the Petaling Jaya Magistrate’s Court for using THC.
However, he escaped a prison sentence after the Court of Appeal allowed him to pay a fine of RM5,000. – BOOM!
