Harith Iskander’s ex-wife, Dr. Jezamine Lim, has expressed hope that those spreading hate and stirring controversy against Harith regarding allegations of insulting Islam will learn a lesson from their actions.
In a statement on Instagram, Jezamine also urged these individuals to open their hearts and channel their energy toward positivity.
“To the individuals behind the abuse and hate, I hold onto hope for you. I hope one day you find peace within yourselves. Karma will run its course – what you give, you will eventually receive,” she wrote.
Jezamine also emphasized that those who provoke excessively must be brave enough to take responsibility.
The statement was shared alongside a video of Harith practicing with their children in preparation for a stand-up comedy performance at the Petronas Philharmonic Hall (DFP), which was scheduled for yesterday. However, the event was canceled following death threats.
Despite her disappointment over the cancellation, Jezamine believes the authorities will handle the matter fairly.
“We trust the authorities to handle this matter professionally, and we will continue to focus on what truly matters: our family, our safety, and the countless people who support us,” katanya.
Persembahan tersebut, yang turut melibatkan dua anak mereka, Zander dan Zydane, dianggap amat bermakna sebelum segala perancangan terpaksa dihentikan demi keselamatan.
“This decision was not made lightly. Harith has poured months of preparation and hard work into this show, and to see it canceled has been heartbreaking for him and deeply disappointing for all of us as Zander and Zydane was supposed to be part of the opening act of the show,” she added.
Previously, this controversy erupted after Harith’s social media post allegedly allowed comments that insulted Islam, sparking outrage among netizens. – BOOM!
